Default E-brake question..

ok so i change my rear brake shoes on my drums..the brakes feel great...but the E brake sucks..it wont even lock up..and on a hill it will juss roll back..i adjusted the e brake line from inside..i searched and there were topics about adjusting the e brake from the little star thing inside the drum..my question is..would i have to re-bleed the lines?

The ebrake uses a cable, not brake fluid. They're either not adjusted right, or something is broken.

adjust the "star" adjuster in the drums. remove drums turn adjuster till slight drag is felt when turning the drum by hand then try it from there.

did you adjust it at all from inside the car? also, have someone pull the ebrake handle while you look to see if it is operating the break pads
