Default Does anyone STOCK rebuilt/shortened Konis?

I saw that OPM carries (or at least it's listed on their web page) rebuilt/shortened(front) Konis, so I'm going to call them on Monday to see if they actually have any in stock. Other than OPM, does anyone know of places I could check for these? It would be way better than waiting for Koni (or anyone else) to rebuild them.

OPM will not have them in stock. They will be sent to Koni to be revalved/shortened and it takes quite a while. I think mine took close to a month.

Hmmm, that's too bad. It would have been TOO easy, I guess. So it looks like I'll ben in the market for some used Koni's that I can send in for a revalve (I've given up trying to get the spring rates I want with stock-valved shocks).

What rates do you want to run? I just finished my suspension on an ITA CRX and I went with the custom koni's and 500f, 700r.

500f, 700r.
That's the one. I would have compromised with 400f/600r but I was told that even 600 would be too high. So, I opted to just do it right from the start (and have the fronts shortened as well). How do you like the 500f/700r setup? Are you running a rear sway bar as well?

I have yet to drive the car. Like you I am still building it. I still need to drop the motor in and wire the car up. I do have a 22mm rear ST bar, but I don't think I'll use a front or rear sway on the car.

You might try Truechoice. They sell and service Konis, so they should either have them in stock or be able to just pull them off the shelf and revalve them. They'll also work with you to get the setup you want.

Any idea what Truechoice's turn-around time would be for a shorten/re-valve job? I have head that Koni can be upwards of 2 months right now.
