spring rates for STOCK konis and tokicos?
would 350f/450r be ok for these shocks lowered about 2.5"? would blues hold up? i know they are not great, but $ is an issue. would koni yellows be ok or would they need to be revalved?probably will have to wait for these.
there is plenty of info on what people are running, but no mention of the necessity of "revalving" or not.
what is the max that "popular" aftermarket (koni and tokico) shocks can take?
by take, i mean performance and reliability.

that seems like it would be way too much for the blues. if you have them already and money is an issue, run them until they die and then step up to either the yellows or illuminas
koni's on the other hand...
those dont need revalving until somewhere between 550 and 650. there is no definite point at which they must be revalved, but somewhere in there.

Re: (nello a.)
depending on how you drive, 6months wouldnt be a bad estimate imo.
i know people with ssprings that stiff on stock shocks that have lasted years, but they drive very mellow all the time. another guy i know has blown a set of blues in 2 months driving like an *******
