Default H1 rule question

Can you run a adjustable link on your car such as this one to adjust toe if you are also running a camber kit in the rear. I ask because I thought from reading the rules you were only allowed to run one adjustable suspension arm per corner of the car.

1 camber adjusting device per corner....so that part would be illegal if you had something else

but,it's not a camber adjusting device
i'm assuming this replaces the toe link at the front of the trailing arm?

Yup it bolts in place of the factory link.

that's what i thought.
is the toe setting you need outside the factory link's range of adjustment?if so,sounds like you have something bent.is it like this on both sides?if not, something's bent,or your thrust angle is off.
or,do you want it to get rid of the factory rubber joints?

i haven't seen a rules update yet, and at last disscussion these were deemed illegal.

should be a re-write of the rules to deem them leagal

but as of now they are illegal.

Correct! They will be legal. They provide NO performance advantage. They only make adjusting toe a little easier.

I dont know about that 100%. I was under the impression that the compiance of the rubber bushings in the toe arm, made the suspension dynamicly toe in under most loads besides braking. Seems like an advantage to me if what I heard about how the suspension works is tru.

I was reading a old thread about them and was just curious if they were legal.

I agree the only benefit I see to them is making adjusting toe easier.

Yep, you might be right. But 99% of people wont be able to tell one bit of difference. They are not expensive, and I don't see them becoming a "must have" part to win, so it's kind of a pointless debate!

you can press spherical bearings in the stock arm, which illiminates the possibility of this happening.

there good to have if you have an older chassis where someone may have stripped the factory slider in the body or you are worried about doing doing so when aligning your car.
