what causes the buzzing around the brake master cylinder??
I notice that every now and again, when i start the car up i will hear a buzzing for a few seconds around the master cylinder area... i can't think what it could be from?
i haven't noticed any problems *yet*. could it be something to do with the abs system??
TIA

you could be loosing preasure in your lines somehow and the sound you hear is that preasure be reaquired. is any of your fluid low? i'd look in all the common manuals for your car and see if they have a troubleshooting area for that specifically. i'd look for you, but i dont have any of mine on hand. when i'm home i'll check for you
Can you descibe the sound a little better? I know a several people, myself included, that does that just when starting up. It's the ABS unit cycling. You can feel it in the pedal a little bit.
Yeah i can feel it in the pedal.
my fluid level is fine and the brake doesn't get spongey or anything.
cud be the abs unit.
