Default new AEM SRI problems

So I received a new AEM short ram intake today. Now this isnt the first AEM intake I installed, probably my 4th or 5th. Anyways, it's the new one that they have with the non-oiled filter (model 22-406). Anyways, their new designe seems to be crap.
First off, the tube the provide to go from the intake to the valve cover for unburned fuel was about 8 inches to short, and secondly, the L bracket on the bottom of the intake doesnt even line up with the hole on the frame to stabilise the intake. Anyone else installed the new ones and has have these problems??

The tube isn't too short, you are just missing the original oem lines and that little hose is made for the oem lines. As far as the L bracket goes you just have to play with the intake a little to get it to line up. I have that exact same intake in my Lude and I had no problems installing it. It took me all of 15min to install.

i can see a threaded hole lined up perfectly for the l bracket

you screwed that rubber thing in the wrong hole

and the short tube connects from the SRI to the original metal tube from the VC
