hood pins.
What is everyones opinion on hood pins for a cf hood. I saw these nrg carbon pins with key locks that look pretty good... i just dont want the hood pin look. i dont really want to get them but I am worried something bad will happen if I dont.. please share your opinions
is it absolutely necessary to have pins?

yes people have had their cf hood split/crack/come off
yes you SHOULD use hood pins on a cf hood
i would say the flat locks would be the ideal ones to use
even if its rare, if youre that 1 person out of thousands where your hood breaks and blocks your view, or it flys off into traffic, your life and the lives of MANY others are seriously put at risk over the lack of $10-40 locks that take 15 min to install
