Default Brake Fluid Question - Start closest or furthest from MC?

Ok, so I flushed my fluid today, and i've heard both

- start on the caliper furthest from the master cyl

and

- start on the caliper closest to the master cyl

the helm's (98+) says to do it starting from the closest, yet I've seen numerous times when people said to do it from the Right Rear and work your way closer.

My friend was saying how perhaps it was because the ABS unit was upgraded from earlier model tegs and such.

anyway

does it really make any difference where you start? im thinking no, since no one has come on the board complaining about how their brakes failed on them or anything

I wouldn't even ask, you'll get more answers then bleeding combinations. It doesn't matter, just do it from the book.

I've tried every direction, from back to front, side to side, front to back.....etc
No problem at all.....the only thing matter to me is to make sure no air in the system......hehe
