I think Jacques was faster on his 15" setup... He was 0.15 in the last event behind a 240SX and ITR.

Couldn't you have taken some more flattering pics?

That was the new setup's maiden voyage, with R3S04s on the front and A6s on the back. There's a lot more to come, both from the car and the driver.

Give him some practice; the car is likely over four inches wider than it was previously. The first time I drove on 9" wide tires I could not even get a clean run in, beet down cones every where on the inside line.

Jaker, can we have some engine specs? And I thought I recognized PDM Racing, but wtf do they have to do with a Civic? It looks like (as I remember) they specialize in 240s.

The motor is a SOHC 1.6 non-Vtec with an M62 blower running at about 20 psi. It hasen't been dynoed yet, but the expectation is for 300+ whp and somewhere around 250-275 ft/lbs of torque. It does currently feel really strong.

PDM Racing is a Nissan specialist, but they are a race shop, and cater to all brands.

wow, good job Jacques! that car has got to feel so different with the tires (is it a chore to steer?). do you plan on covering up the tires with some flares? I don't think i've seen any civic in sm with tires that wide.

Its a brute to steer right now. Remember, I also have 2.3 turns lock to lock on the steering with the Quaife internals. I do have some flares to put on, but I'm having trouble finding the time to do it. To be honest, the car looks like *** right now. But when the flares are finally on, it'll look something like this, only a little wider :

All in the name of speed. Oh, and we're trying to kick some M3 butt .
