Default So differences in 99si and normal civic

Just wondering what they are. i know the facts but im saying like if i wanted to get a short shifter, does it have to be si specific because of the b16? im going to order an ebay shortshifter with **** and boot (yeah yeah but im poor) for my em1 and i was just wondering if just a civic one works and then im getting the poly bushings for the transmission. BTW, is red or black the quieter poly bushing? Thank you!

Dont waste your money on eBay short shifters. They are crap. Save up for a skunk2. And yes and regular civic shifter will work.

I think the fact that they snap is a good enough reason. Aside from that the the throw is probably a lot longer then with the Skunk 2.
