Default making air intake for crx dx

has anyone made a intake for a dx? if so how hard was it and what materials did you use? the car is a 90

goto harware store, look at dryer piping, look at clamps look at your wallet to make sure you have $5 in there for parts. look for air filter make sure you have $20 for some kind of cone filter look at watch to make sure you have 15 min of spare time.

just go buy an intake for pretty much any civic and it will fit on your dx. APC makes one for a 92-96 civic that is pretty cheap. it fits on the crx if you just cut the tube a little shorter. you can pretty much buy any intake for a civic and get it to fit with very little change.

I made my own with my old stock intake pipe, a piece of my friends stock pipe(had to cut it to fit around the battery) and a RS akimoto intake filter. It works great, but I know when I swap my motor Ill get a AEM CAI.

hey i just finished making my intake....it cost a total of 42 dollars to have an intake...just some bent pipe filter and pvc grommet w/clamps...sounds bad as hell...bossted upper level hp ALOT...quite remarkable really....pics soon
