Im planning on putting p29 88-89 integra pistons into my 1995 z6 motor is there any problems with piston to valve clearance??? will use oem head gasket and do a normal mill job before reinstalling the head to block. Does this set up cuase the pistons to hit the valves or and other problems and searched and found differant answers. But nothing straight forward.

yes, def clearance issues when vtec engages............and I speak from personal experience.

a6 bottem end

 

some have clearance issues: some don't
i advise you tho clay your motor bforehand

you said y8 head I heard the same with that head but Im using a z6 head and not going to use the y8 head gasket using a oem z6 head gasket its thicker.
