Default Emergency headlight question!!

Need to know the differance between the 88-89 crx headlights and the 90-91's. Just bought a set off Ebay and realized they're designed for an 88-89 doh! What will it take to make them fit a 90' CRX? Need to know if I should cancel the order .

my understanding is that the assembly (the mount that the actual headlamp itself sits in) is the only difference. correct me if i'm wrong guys, but i'm fairly sure you can just take the bracket off of your 90-91 headlights (if they're available to use) and slap the headlamp you just got from ebay in there, and you should be good to go.

Switch the lamp part with your 90-91 bracket and I'm 99.9% sure there will be no difference. The location of where they bolt and the corners are the only difference I beleive.

Just found this thread on the norcalcrx.org forum. It says you need the 88-89 headlight brackets, two plastic clips from the 88-89 that attach to the fenders and a 88-89 front bumper (the plastic part not the metal bumper support).

Anyone know how the front bumper differs on the 88-89 affecting the headlights?

It doesn't, I think. It's the corner lights/fenders that are different. Using the 88-89 bracket, the corner light will not screw in.

The bumper lights are larger on the90-91 CRX, other than that, they will bolt up. There is a bolt in the center of the grill that would not line up on my car, but it didn't cause a problem.

They do that in every car...it's called 're-designing'. The 88 looked like **** with the lights and some of the interior and some of the packages they offered. The 90-91 are so much better.
