I searched for 2 hours but cant find anything about transmission identification.
I have a tranny but dont know if its an ls or gsr someone help before i get ripped off

Well, per some research i did, on the transmission itself, it should read s80, like this

thanks, i look at the tranny but there was no vins on it. wtf
bassically there should be 2 vins but there were off, it left the sticker mark on it were the vins should be.

If there's no vins man, I would stay away, for two reasons.
1) It could not be a GSR tranny.
2) It very well might be stolen if the vins and id tags are missing from it.
