I have this problem with my clutch. While i start the car it starts to make this loud grinding noise. When ever it was in gear or out of gear, as long the clutch pedal was released it makes noise. IM PISSED This is the second time ripping off the tranny to find the problem. I have a ACT 6puck with max extream pressure plate. This clutch last me about a year already. When ripping off the clutch we notice that the hole where the transmission shaft goes into the clutch was eating up.
Has this ever happend to anyone? ill post up some pics later.....

 

if you can post up some pics people (like me) can try to figure whats wrong, So it does this everytime you hold in the clutch?

 

My car does make a little noise which i am concerned but its been sittting for a while maybe ill get a new clutch soon and see.

 

it only makes noise when i release the clutch

 

problem = throw out bearing.

 

sounds like yur throw out bearing is making noise. or possible the main shaft bearing in side the tranny is getting bad.

 

just found out the problem. the problem was that the clutch it self was messed up. The part were the shaft goes into the clutch was eating up.
