Default exhaust set up.would this work??

i have a 94' si, I want to get a megan racing header and catco ceramic coated hi-flow cat and bolt them up to my stock exhaust........will that work??......and will I still get power gains from it???

PS- I need to get rid of the bad manifold and crappy cat, and I dont have enough for a catback, but will that work in the meantime with a universal muffler?

you could take the header and cat along with the muffler of your choice to an exhaust shop and have them weld everything up to some 2.5" piping

of course it wont be mandrel bent but you will have the entire exhaust at a much cheaper price.......if not then i would skip the muffler until you get a catback

also by having a shop weld everything(i would put a flange between the header and rest, but that's all) together you save some of the weight of the multiple flanges

better watch out, someone might run in here and tell you what to do with your money, like buying a custom header by SMMSSSSPPPP OR EMRMRRMRMEMF.

haha.

If you buy a Megan header, make sure to get the DP too.

I bought one not long ago and to my dismay it doesn't bolt up right.. it sits too far back.
