as long as it's not too loud (whatever exhaust system you get) most cops won't bother you. but if you have a loud fartcan, every cop that gets behind you will pull you over.

 

that website doesn't have the rsr ex mag I for 96-00 civic hatchback... is it backordered from the company?

Exhaust does not effect smog at all, but cops here usually look for loud exhaust with a big *** tip. I used to get pulled over with my Greddy evo every now and then. I went with the RSR exmag, and welded a 2.5" stock looking tip to it, to give it a stock look. Cops don't even bother me anymore.

 

May have a hard time..
RS*R has dis-continued the old black style and are re=developing the new Ex-mag design.
