Default HELI-COIL???

IS HELI-COIL GOOD OR NOT???? my block is stripped from where the bolts go for the bracket on the timing belt side... will it hold it? its just the two top bolts??

Well, its heli-coil it, or buy a new block. I know which one I'd pick.

i've had great luck with helicoils when I use them with red loctite.

you drill out the hole the next size up and then tap it. Apply some loctite to the helicoil and thread it in using the provided tool, once in break of the tab on the end. Then apply some more loctite on the bolt and thread in. The final and most important step, drive and hope you don't need to remove it again anytime soon

thansk alot... yeah trust me it wont be removed..

I just went thru this the heli-coil is good if not better.

Oh yeah, at a local shop, they run anywhere from $30-$60 per coil.

go to any local ace hardware type store and give them the bolt you are wanting to install. They will get you everything you need and walk you through the installation process.

ok im buying heli-coil today got my size straight too (m10-1.25) see if i can find it some where. I'll let you guys know how it goes
