down shift grinding

down shift grinding
I don't know wtf is going on with my car, but when i down shift to forth gear at around 100 mph, it all ways grinds. any help would be great. and how much to fix

I don't know about ep3, but if it is and RSX and it was made before half way in 05 it might be the synchros. There is a deffinite problem with alot of them in that tranny. If it is that you are looking at big money.

Yeah then you have to trust the tech to tear apart your tranny and pray he puts it back together right. It might be different in other places but I know more about my car than some of the techs at the damn dealership close to my house. It comes down to who you trust.

believe it or not some of these techs up in the dealership suck ***. its always good to learn from the ghetto fabulous builders. lets just say we always do it right
