My car just started throwing a code 4, I randomly looked at the ecu and it was flashing code 4, check engine light doesnt come on though and I dont really notice any differences anywhere

What affect does code 4 have? Why is it being thrown? Worth fixing?

The motor is an obdo d16a6 - turbo

it usually indicates that your distributor is on its way out. it will usually effect timing.

ive got a few here but im probably to lazy to change it this week
