Thats what I used. It took about 60lbs worth of the pellets. For the spots that wouldn't break loose with dry ice I used a propane torch and a paint scraper. It's fun to play with a torch, but it doesn't work nearly as well as dry ice.

Just spread the ice across the tar, and let it sit for 20 minutes or so. When it gets ready to come up you can tell. I just hit the ice with a hammer and it came up easily.

Here are some good links I found by the red Search button in the top right corner. There are more, but you do this too.
Hope this helps!

lucky i live in WI...wait till winter when its below zero...let the tar get nice and hard and pound away with a rubber malet..
Use the dry ice late at night so the temp is already low. Make SOFT taps around with a hammer and it should peel off in big chunks. If you hit too hard you'll dent your floor it's easier to do that than you think. You'll need a heat gun or solvent for the tar that isn't on the floor. Cost me $120 worth of dry ice for my teg, not sure about lbs worth. Goodluck

then sprayed wd40 on the floor, rolled the windows up and let the car bake in the sun. Wiped it up with a rag afterwards. Repeat as necessary.
took me 8 hrs and cost $20.
