Happy 23rd Birthday to me!!!
Some stuff for sale:
- D16Y8 swap, out of my 97 civic EX coupe 5-speed. The block has 146,897 miles on it, but I had the head completely rebuilt at 126,988 miles (cost me $320, all new seals, guides, 3-angle valve job, cleaned valves, etc.). I also installed ARP headstuds ($105), an OEM headgasket ($35), OEM water pump ($75 or something ridiculous) and OEM timing belt ($85 I think?). All of the work I posted above was done in August of 2004 by myself and a couple of knowledgeable friends. In July of 2004, I put in an ACT HDSS clutch kit ($320), that still grabbed hard and engaged smooth until the motor was pulled on Saturday. Three months ago, my buddies and I put in a D16Z6 tranny with 130,000 miles (now ~ 134,000 miles) that shifts perfectly with no grinds.
This motor would probably be worth about $500-600 if it were completely stock (stock old head, stock clutch, etc.), but with all the work I have into it, I'm selling it for $700 FIRM. I don't want $650 for it, so don't waste your time.
Here's what's included: Block/head/tranny/linkage/alternator/starter/distributor/slave & master cylinder, all bolted up together as it was pulled. There are a couple things you need to complete the swap: an engine harness, a couple mounts, stock injectors, ECU and some little bolts & brackets. Whatever's missing, I used for my GSR swap most likely. I have a list of people that can vouch for this motor's nicely-running status when pulled.
PM me if seriously interested! Picture of the swap (what's in the picture that's in the list of stuff that's not included is...not included
):

Also for sale:
- 1G blue top DSM 450cc injectors, with clips and resistors wired in - $75 FIRM
- Genuine Spoon Sports oil cap - $50 FIRM
- Professionally chromed JDM DOHC VTEC B-Series valve cover, cut for cam gears - $100 FIRM, or trade for OEM ITR valve cover
- 96-98 civic coupe taillights - $20
WTB:
- 99-00 Si power steering pump, ASAP!!!

up we go!!!
$75 takes away the DSM 450's, clips & resistors! Just wire it in to your stock harness and you're ready for boost (with a chipped ECU or AFC)!
And my swap is still available for $700 FIRM picked up! PM me with any questions, as it's my car's original motor.
