hey guys, i have a quick question. my car is a 94 integra ls. every oince in a while, the car just will not start. i can hear the starter working and it turns over, but it just will not fire up. if i hold the gas pedal to the floor, it starts in one or two more attempts. i just replaced the fuel filter so i know that isnt the problem, could it posibly be my fuel pump?

Do you hear any noise (the fuel pump makes noise) when you turn the ignition to the 'on' position?

 

It could be your main relay

i was just qetting the same problems but just 30 mins ago my car wont start for **** almost like no signal is going to the starter i tapped it while starting and it did not make a difference so does any no what it is that way his **** wont get as bad as mine and so i can fix mines to.

 

i can hear it, but it seems like it used to kick on louder(if that is possible) than it does now. it only does this like once or twice a month too....

 

so you havent fixed it and do you have any idea what it could be?

 

i dont know what it is, it only does it when im in a hurry too lol

 

swap one of your friend fuel pump, and see how that works..If that is your problem buy a new pump...If not it could be your fuel pump relay/fuse..
