Every time it rains i get a small pond in the spare tire area, i have no idea where it is coming from, does anyone have any ideas on what to do about it?

I think i found the problem, it looks like my tail lights are leaking, the taillights are over flowing into the inside of the car and running downing the spare tire area.

i searched around for 'leaking tail lights", and found nothing, so can i just replace the gaskets and that will solve the problem?
Yes, the dealership should have gaskets. Take yours out...I'm sure you'll see they're brittle and misformed from years of use. Good luck - mildew sucks!

That's what mine did. I just picked up some craft foam from Wal-Mart and made a template with the stock gaskets. put it in place with some silicon and you're set!
