Default how tuneable is the stock fit engine ?

has anyone dynoed yet with i/h/e ? or anything else for this matter ? I have an integra with an LS that WAS turbo, but im selling it all and thinking about a fit maybe because its 1. a brand new car 2. i want air conditioning 3. I would love 32+ MPG. But how good is the motor incase along the line I would want to boost it or just do bolt ons with tune ? Also this motor has a REAL vtec just like the Dseries single slam correct ?

if you want some dyno's check out http://www.fitfreak.net

ASpec has their intake/exhaust combo dyno'd and posted. Some other people have a few dyno's up too I believe.

I can't wait to get my ASpec kit. Their dyno graphs boast about an 8-10 peak HP increase. That's pretty impressive for a tube intake and axleback exhaut.

Back on topic...

I wouldn't even buy a Civic for what he wants. I'd flat out buy a car that had the power I wanted, or close to it, from the start.

I  my econobox Fit.

just because a car has a turbo doesnt mean it can't get 32+ mpg still. just stay off the boost, and it'll run just like any other NA car.
