Question about Mugen Pedals??
Hello All,
Well I decided to post in this forum cause I figure more R owners would have these then regular integra owners. I just received these today (thanks again Leo)and was installing them till I ran into a problem. Gas and clutch was a cinch but for the life of me I can't get the gas pedal on. By looking at the direction since I can't read japanese it looks like I'm suppose to take the hard plastic cover off the gas pedal but how? I can't not get it off unless I tear it off and break it. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks guys.

you CAN get it off w/out breaking it, but I've heard (from others on here) that it is a bitch and a half...up to you if you want to break it or not

Start at the top. Part of the plastic slip wraps over the top. Pry/pull/break that away and the slip slides down the pedal and off.

after 10 minutes if trying to pry it off, I just said SCREW IT and broke it
not like I ever plan on going back to stock
If you haven't broken the stock already, there's a tab on the back side that fits over the top of the metal base plate, just get a set of work gloves, lift the tab up (towards you) with one hand and grab and pull down with the other while keeping the tab up. Mine came off super easy.
