Your clutch is dead man! Clutches die! The reason your shifter feels loose is cause it is. The bushings that hold it tight get worn out after years of people beating the crap out of them.
How can your dad be one of the best mechanics around and you never pick up on anything? I've known what a dead clutch feels/acts/looks like since my brothers clutch died when I was 14, and we put a new one in.

Lol, sorry about that, couldn't decipher that it said you couldn't find the holes in the tranny. Let em find you the thread on checking your tranny fluid.

Take the fill plug out and stick your finger in the hole and feel right below the hole. If you feel fluid, then you should be good. Also use a 6point socket to get the plug out or you will strip it.

its all good man, thx for the help, and i never really bothered goin out in the garage and helpin my dad and this is my first std and honda so i wouldnt no wtf a dead clutch feels like ne ways, and thats very good for u to know that when u were 14, props,
You check the fluid by removing the fill plug on the transmission and poking your finger in. The car should be level when you do this. (Trust me and my bad input shaft bearing on that!) The fluid should be even with the bottom of the fill hole.
A transmission low on fluid won't cause this. Most likely, the problem is the clutch. It could be something with the driveshafts, but I doubt it.
You can check those by jacking both front wheels up into the air, putting the transmission in gear, and trying to turn one wheel. If the other wheel turns backwards, the drive shafts are probably OK. If everything were cool, you wouldn't be able to turn one wheel while the other one was held still (e.g., if it's still on the ground). If the clutch is mostly dead, you will probably be able to turn the one wheel with a bit of effort when the other wheel is blocked or on the ground. (Note that a limited-slip differential will change this behavior!)
If there was a while where the engine revs would climb too much, but you were still accelerating (but less than you normally would), chances are that it's the clutch. Most other parts in the drive train will either be connected, or not connected. The clutch is the only one that I can think of that can become "halfway connected".
