Default LS/VTEC HEADER QUESTION

Will I still be able use my existing 4-1 header on my B18B after I swap heads?

the only b-series header that may have clearances issues on a b18 motor is the b16 header because of the shorter deck heighth

Will any other model b series headers fit my engine? Type R? GSR? CTR? .....And still match up to my catalyic?

Like previously stated, w/ the civic type r, it runs a b16, so there may be clearence issues, but all these engines are b series, so they will bolt to you head just fine, just w/ the b16, it may have some clearence issues.

some of the headers you listed are different lengths, so you may need to compensate with a different cat or b-pipe.

a b16 header is ideal for the lsvtec. because of the fact it's shorter.....if you use a b18b or a GSR it will be looong...

the CTR header will fit because it has the same deck heighth as the b18c blocks

as for the GSR header, you will have to run a longer at to fit it on

ITR, CTR, LS spec headers will fit your car with no problems, but you may need a larger collector on the cat if you get a header with a 2.5 inch collector on it
