Each hardtop fits different, so the noise in each car is different.

Most lose wind noise, but some will creak and rattle depending on the instal.

My oem hardtop will creak a little bit at low speeds...do you know of anyway to help it go away? thanks

To stay on topic, the road noise is reduced by a fair amount imo...especially on the highway.

More road noise with Mugen hardtop, lot's of creeking when the body flexes, and it sounds like your driving in a tin can!

i just bought and installed a used FRP mugen. no extra creaks or noises. highway noise has dramaticaly gone down. of course its still there, and seems to start to get louder past 80-85 mph. but thats ok, what else do you expect... most wind noise i hear is the trailing edge of the driver side window.

at first the strikers from the soft top were making clicking/rattling noises, but i just put a piece of black duct tape and it silenced it completely. im absolutely happy with my hardtop in terms of noise.

if i just put some sound deadening on the floor, it would probably help a lot too, but that has nothing to do with the top.
