adjust the tps. Also, your IAVC or FITV might be bad, or maybe you have air in your coolant lines.

I'm going to try and clean out the IACV in the morning but i'm unsure what a FITV is , I had a whistle niose problem last month and adjusted the throttle screw and it went away and idled much better , is it possible for the screw to back out on its own that soon ? it was very easy to turn. Thanks for the help guys , this site rocks !

its very possible for the screw to back out....i mean anything is possible, but i dont believe it is your throttle position screw messing with your idle.

Clean the screen on the IAVC like you were going to do.......see if that fixes it.

FITV= Fast Idle Thermal Valve. Its on the bottom of your IM. Sometimes ascrew on the inside backs out and causes it to idle funny, and sometimes the FITV just is plain ol' bad and needs replaced. That goes for the IAVC also. There are several ways to scheck to see what is actually wrong so if you want to know, just pm me and i will explain them to you. Personally, i think your IAVC is causing it.

On the other hand, a rough idle could just be caused by a really dirty air filter.

Well its running smooth again !
I pulled another IACV off one of my spare intake mani's out in the shop and swapped them out . Then started the car and let it warm up and it idled back down like normal.
Thanks again for the help guys
