recently my car started acting up like crazy.

first the battery warning light on the cluster would turn on and then it would just die. the temp gauge also shoots up to HOT when the battery light comes on right b4 it shuts off. the car cant possibly be overheating because i just put in a brand new radiator and there is plenty of coolant in there. sometimes the battery light comes on and then it just goes away, and once it does the temp gauge returns to normal. my interior dome light, cluster lights, and headlights FLICKER CONSTANTLY nonstop....sometimes faster then others (at all times!)

i had the battery and altenator checked and was told that they are both fine.

i have yet to find the source of the problem, what could be causing this????

the car just shuts off randomly at times, and other it just runs fine xcept for the flickering lights.

when checking the altenator, i noticed the wire that runs from the altenator to the fuse box was frayed and burned some how. i replaced it with another one from a spare harness i had and it still didnt solve the problem!

i thought that wire was the cause of the problem, but apparently not.

any input is appreciated, i need to get this car running good ASAP. it is my daily driver!

I'd check for and clean every grounding strap/wire on the vehicle.

been done, no good results. actually they are all new grounds.

 

i am havin almost the same problem just with out the light thing just let me know what it is u find out. thank u

 

Well, then whoever tested your alternator/battery is wrong.
