Front license plate bolts
Okay so I bought my car from someone in NJ where front plates are required. I live in PA so I don't need them, the jackass that took off the plate managed to shear off the heads of the bolts so now theres like rusty cut up bolt heads hanging out of my bumper and I catch my shorts on them when I walk by, looks horrible, stuff like that. Anyone have any idea how to get these out, one has a head on it still (sort of) the other one is pretty much flat with the bumper. I am going to try pliers on the one with a head on it still tomorrow but they seem rusted in. Could I take the bumper off maybe and it would be easier?
Thanks

even if the heads break off, just drill the rest out the best you can carefully, then spend $5 and get these!!!

If it comes down to it, you can remove the front bumper and try to remove the license plate bolt brackets from the bumper without destroying the pylons that they sit on.

Yep had to take off the bumper and take off the brackets, which were old rusted and all twisted up. Needless to say, pylons were lost. Good thing I don't need a front plate
Time to buy the plugs.

Time to buy the plugs.
Crap the brackets weren't useable anyways. Since half the pylons were broke and the other half were barely hanging. I think I will buy the plugs and try super glue or something :-/
