knock sensor for 95 h22a1 - can i use one from any other engine/year/model??
i need a knock sensor, i put this in the want to buy thread also.
do i need one from a 95?
what years/models/engines can i use the knock sensor from?
and if any1 knows a good site /place to get one from that would help also.

Yes any honda KS will work. They are all the same, you MUST check that the connector plug is similar however.
There are 2 types of KS, one with a circle plug and one with a square plug. Obviously if you have a circle one a square one would not work.

yea.. that one should work...
I remember paying about $160 for my knock sensor... I was just tired of seeing my check engine light going on after the car was warmed up... and plus I had to smog my car.. lol
if you get a knock sensor.... it should be the one that uses a one wire connector... the 96-on knock sensors uses 2 wires... and I believe the other wire is used a reference voltage for the ECU...
