hey guys,

just wondering if anyone has ever used an ITR airbox setup in their Eg. I have a b18c1, itr throttle body. I hate the whistling sound my intake gives, so I am going for the stock itr intake arm, but i want to know if its possible to bolt the itr airbox down.

curious to know this myself... have the same whistling coming out of my SRI, although mine seems to be coming from the FITV, hoping to shut the noise up by putting a stock airbox back

My buddy had a stock 93 Si and used our freinds stock 01 usdm ITR airbox and only one bolt matched up. I'm sure it would fit though. Just add it on. If it doesn't bolt down, nothings going
tob be hurt. You could also remove the box and just have the cone filter exposed. You should get a K&N filter for it anyway.

Well my eg is long gone but I ran an ITR box with a few modifications the whole time I had it. Let me see if I can dig up some old pics.......

 

Here ya go, I found my old post about it and if I remember correctly I trimmed the arms on the box, drilled a whole in the side and fabbed my own metal lower mount. I dug these pics up and hope these help. I believe the 1st one is the ITR box and where I trimmed it. FYI i used the ITR intake arm as well.
