Default proportion valve compatability between series

just wanted to know if the prop. valve from a 91 dx civic will work fine on my 95 dx civic...both have rear drums...it physically fits...just wanna make sure its not gonna lock up on me or something...yeah i know this should be in the 92-00 forum but i never get any help in there...plus ef guys are more knowledgable(did i even spell that right?haha) .thanks

itll work, not sure if the prop valve is the same. DX is 1725.
