I pulled off two of the plastic fasteners holding on the plastic fairing under the front of the car. I couldn't figure out a way to get them off without breaking them, so now I need some. Any ideas on where to get them? I have a 99 civic HX. I've noticed there are two types on my car, one that looks like you could screw it in but it just pushes in, and another that just pushes in. I could use either one or both, I've noticed a couple of other places they are missing under the car, thanks for any help.

 

those are very cheap from Honda and i recommend that you buy em from honda and not from autozone or something like that cuz they don't have the right size. Take the one you have that fits in that spot and take it 2 honda they'll locate it for ya. its cheap like $5 for 10 or something like that.

Yes you are right here are 2 types. There are screw in types its sorta like a plastic anchor (the screw int he middle opens the sides up and holds it in place) and the other type are the newer clip types. Those ones have a flat screwdriver side slot wher you can pop it out. no breaking necessary. hope it helps.

 

The dealership is the best place but i paid like 3 dollars apiece.....its exspensive.

 

damn that dealership musta sucked cuz i bought 10 of em for i think $7 here in so-cal. My eg was missing lots lol.

 

yea its quite expensive. local dealership charges like $5 a piece. junkyard charged me $2 a piece.
