how can you tell by looking at a del sol if it has a B16 in it or not.

 

hmm.... by the vtec sticker on the rear.... other than that i'm not sure. owned a vtec coupe with the B16 for over 2 years.... the tachometer redlines at 8ish and mine didn't have foglights or A/C, but i'm not sure this is uniform in all the vtec coupe models. I would say best way to tell is look at the gauges.

 

Yep, sticker on the back (although mine has almost faded away) and the tach are the only ways without popping the hood.

Oh, and the smile on the driver's face!

By fog lights, I'm assuming you mean the aux lights? 93-95 had the aux lights. 96 and 97 did not. a/c was an option in all models...my b16 has it.

This is if the vehicle is stock. Also Del Sol B16A3's vin tag should have EG2 in it.
