Default i neeeed a del sol. wich is the best way to go about.

i am currently tring to sell my car wich is a dodge stealth r/t to buy a del sol. i always wanted one but now i want one so bad its crazy. wich would be the best way to get a del sol vtec. buy the si version wich is more expensive or get a non vtec del sol for a little less and drop a b16 into it. can the 1.5l del sol handle a b16 without any mods or suspension work? and also are thier any years i should avoid buying?

let me clairify something first

Del Sol SI-D16z6

Del Sol VTEC-B16A

Just go for the VTEC version...if you look hard enough you can find one at a pretty decent price.

The Si didn't come with the B16, only the '94 - '97 vtec models.

Del Sol S -> '93 - '95 D15B7, '96 - '97 D16Y7
Del Sol Si -> '93 - '95 D16Z6, '96 - '97 D16Y8
Del Sol Vtec -> '94 - '95 B16A3, '96 - '97 B16A2

The '94 - '95 Del Sol Vtecs are the most desirable of the bunch having a B16A and being OBD1, but you can drop a B16 into any Del Sol equally as easy for the most part.

Edit, i see someone already clarified the model information.
