I was driving last night with my system on and when I would stop at the stop or redlight my lights would almost totally go off and my system and headunit would shut off and then come back on, once i pull away the lights come back on fine. I turned the system off and it was still happening so its not the system draining it while on, could the system have killed the alternator?

 

yeah definately. i ran through two alternators in my celica with a system... you need a new alternator and a capacitor or you need a new alternator and ditch the system...


subs weigh a lot any way... a waste of money imo
