Default exhaust bolt question

Was disconecting my cat from my header and snapped one of those bolts in half. The one with the spring.
My question is...if I can run any honda exhaust bolt. My local Honda dealer is alot closer then the local Acura dealer so would I maybe be able to run say maybe a s2000 exhaust bolt? Did a search but found nothing about my specific question. Thank you in advance.

I'm sure just about anyone on here would be willing to send you one of those bolts for the price of a postage stamp.

in answer to your question the part number for the bolt is 18231-SR3-J01 which can be bought at a honda dealership... but why would u want to spend close to $10 for a bolt???

use http://www.barancoacuraparts.com for all ur acura part no lookups and cross check it at any honda dealership to see if they carry it.

try your local hardware store. You need grade 8 12mm bolts long enough to accomodate.

dont use bolts, studs only (oem or arp). eventually springs that make up the thread will give a and you'll have to recoil the thread. best to get arp studs - i wouldn't replace the ones already in there until they fail. you're taking a chance every time by removing them studs.. btw, home depot sell grade 8 bolts
