I just got a quick question, what would you pay for a complete swap? How much would you pay for the engine alone with no ecu or tranny?

complete swap, legitimate with papers and documentation from a reputable shop, low mileage w/ warranty expect 6000+.

for bare engine: expect 4000+

lots of factors involved.

for instance: jdm itr engine look alike (a.k.a hot b18c5 with vin tag ripped off and the "5" in b18c5 shaved off), $2000.

 

ok, well im getting an idea. I might be able to get front clips of JDM ITR's, and other JDM vehicles. I am getting it from a body shop in okinawa. This is a maybe......... Im still gathering info, and will be back with more details....soon hopefully

Entire wrecked car $1500~$3k

B18C/tranny/ecu $300~
B16B $1000
driveshafts $50 each side
ITR cluster $30
PWO/PR3/P30/P72 ECU $30~$60

These are the prices from a 6 months ago. I stopped hooking people up with good prices because they would turn around and sell **** on Ebay and make a 500% profit ! I hate being used!

dee, I dont know why you are trying to imply that I am going to go around ripping people off or trying to jack prices up. My plan was to try to hook people up, not make tons of profit off this. U make it seem like I am going to use honda-tech as my source of income, when its just my place to give back to people who helped me in the past.

 

Since you obviously do not know me I'll let you in on a secret! I never imply. I am always a straight forward slap you in the face type person. You asked for values and I gave ACTUAL values. If I intended to call you a ripoff I would have posted "intekragsr is a ripoff". Go sit down and have a beer bro' !

I was merely ranting about past experiences and I am actually helping H-T members right now by setting up a deal to get Okuyama/Carbing/Rigid tower bars with me making no profit whatsoever.
