Question on suspension
I don't want to put out the money for a lowering kit, I believe CC said it was 350 bux. They said the only other alternative is cutting the springs and it only drops it an inch and half.
I'm sorry to bother with these silly questions but I have nobody in my area that knows alot about civics like you guys do
What should I do to lower my car, its on 17's as is.. I've heard cutting the springs damages your cars suspension. I'm all ears......
Thanks.

Do not cut your springs. They save money up first but in the long run you are gonna wish you did it right the first time. Springs aren't too expensive these days. Cutting springs only gives you the "low" look. Your car will handle like poop.
Thanks, appreciate the info. Anybody have anything against Arospeed lowering springs? http://www.speedandstyle.com/index_2.htm They are in my price range.
Don't forget that when you drop your car you will need new shocks too. Do not try to do suspension work with short cuts. Your car will quickly become unsafe.
If I got some arospeed springs and dropped it slightly, say a inch or so would I have to get a camber kit for the kit? Will it bottom out and hit the tire on 17's with just the springs itself? And what about factory springs, it will bottom out alot?
Btw: I would align it after the springs are put on of course...
