thanks man, thats cleared a few things up for me, while i had my own kind of interpretation of what rice/ricer was, i was'nt sure.
while on here i've had to get used to
highway = motorway
transmission = gearbox
header =manifold
ricer =scanger check> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scanger

ye learn something new every day, that would make the irish equivelant of
''pimp my ride'' = ''scanger my banger''

"The term "American rice", "domestic rice", or "wheat burner" has been used to describe American-made cars that have been modified as described, but simply calling them rice is also commonplace."

This makes me think of just the other day I saw a guy driving a Mitsubishi VR4 and under the badging at the rear of the car he had this fancy pants "MUGEN Racing Team" badge. It was a good inch and a half tall by five inches wide.

Apparently that was the car they "designed" for a T-Mobil commercial. God, that would have been an awesomely fun thing to build - "Here's $10K, go make this car as ricey as possible" Tach on hood facing forward FTW! My only critisizm is that they started with something that has an ounce of performance potential. A geo metro would have been cooler
