Went to the drag with the guys this weekend. Track temp was about 70 degrees and it was very humid. The lanes sucked at first and I couldn't get any traction. Runs are as followed.
1st run.
60' 2.697 (spun though first and second)
1/8 10.37@75.56mph
1/4 15.511@95.45MPH
Best of the night
60' 2.199
1/8 9.087@79.45mph
1/4 14.089@97.88mph
Was glad to back up the 14.03 in worse conditions. Found out that my cat was starting to clog again which is the likely reason of my low dyno numbers. If not oh well a 14.0 is a 14.0
Mods- AEM CAI (Ghetto rigged), removed seats and spare tire, removed PS belt, unhooked cat on header side only with a piece of wire pulling it away from header, and tissues stuck in my ears so I wouldn't get a headache. Runs were achieved on Potenza SO-3 pole positions.

Just for future reference, please call threads with 1/4mi timeslips "1/4 mi timeslips."
I came here looking for track times (i.e. road course).

maybe in GA they call it the track.. I know people around still call the drag strip the track..

I'm sure I won't be the only one who expected to see some lap times.
But once again, sorry I didn't mean to seem negative.
Active - nice times
Yeah.. I agree with Reid..
Track = Road Course..
I was confused at first looking at 1/4 miles time.. in a Track??
how? hehe.
anyway..
Great Time! I hope I can get 14s next time I drag..

Good times...
You are correct a 1/4 mile strip is a track...if you choose to call it what ever you want, that is your prerogative. I am looking at the papers from the last couple of events for me, and they all say 'Track Rules' not 'Strip Rules'...

that's just cuz drag racers THINK it's a track
...it's like putting type R stickers on a civic HF, doesn't make it so
(Am i kidding? or am i being serious? It's so hard to tell over the internet!!!)

Quit acting like a bunch of elitist jackasses just because he said track.I get sick of all this crap about how "track"racing is better than drag racing. It is a matter of personal preference.
Good times, especially for how little you have done.My old ITR went 14.07@100.5 with homemade CAI,usdm Mugen header and rear interior removed. But,then again, drag racing takes no skill

just for reference, could you tell me how you changed your launch going from your worst run to your best run, those are really good times. My car is runnig really well right now , but I can't break 2.5 60 ft times. I see by lowering your 60 fts by .5 secs you shaved about 1 sec. off the 1/4 mile time. That is great. Well any info would be much appreciated. thanks. BTW, I was dumping the clutch between 2000 and 4000 rpms, but it wasn't a good strategy. thanks.

There wasn't much I could do at the beginning of the night. I guess I had to wait until some cars had laid down some rubber for me. I swear I've had better traction in the rain. Second gear would spin all the way to redline. Eventually though it just started to stick. I was riding the clutch from about 4-5k.
thanks for the info guys, sounds like a decent approach, much better than straight dump I take it. I should try to take the tire pressures lower too, I think they were around 28 psi on my car, using street tires.
