I am curious what a decent price was for getting my 2 door Integra's windows tinted. I thought $120 was an average price, but I called a couple places (in the Minneapolis area) and they both said $199.99, granted that was WITH a lifetime warranty. Is that pricey, or is that legit with the warranty?

(sorry if this is a repeated topic, I did a search and didn't find anything)

 

I got a price around 130-150 for a back window, and two sides.
It was for a bmw 318ti, but none the less around the same size, or bigger actually,
Also a couple years ago, and in the NY area.

But with a lifetime warranty, that doesn't sound bad.

 

Don't get cheap on tint... if it fades and bubles it looks like ****. Also you get more heat deflection out of good tint which is one of the main points of tint. My DB7 was 250 to tint and it works very nicely at keeping out the arizona heat.

My friend got his tint done on the south side (area with lots of shops that emply illegals) his tint was 100 for his dodge ram crew cab. A year later he had bubbles on almost every window.

 

damn $200! I got my 2 door integra done for $125.

 

I got 5 windows done for 65 bucks

i know a place in mesquite, tx that can do 10% for like 100

 

its good to pay more for tints at a shop. dont go cheap cuz its pepboy tints and ittl fade purple or bubble in 2 months im not kidding. the prices for good tint should be 175$+ at a shop

 

btw 200 is a great price for liftetime tints

 

200 is a pretty good price, since it has lifetime warranty. try and go to a dealership and ask the tint guy if he'll tint your car on the side. thats how i got mine done on my RSX. he did 100 with warranty.

 

As long as its lifetime warranty it shouldn't be a problem. I paid 140 for all the windows in my teg with a lifetime warranty, but I'm in Cali. Make sure you get lifetime warranty!

 

200 is not bad if they do good work. Ask to see some they have done. And lifetime warranty means nothing if they will be out of business in 6 months.

 

i got my old prelude done for 160. it included all the windows except the windshield. i also got a lifetime warranty. this was 2 years ago and they're still in business.
