World Challenge rules?
Just reading the rules for WC rules for fun and I saw this and was wondering if anyone had a picture of what they are talking about.
2.10.11 Lateral Support for divers legs........Leg support pieces running longitudinally along each side of the drivers legs between the seat and foot pedals to provide lateral support, thereby limiting side-to-side movement of the legs, In case of a side impact......

It's something that Cadillac put on their cars that SCCA liked and decided to write into the rules. The way they have been enforcing it is very open. Pretty much however you decide to interpret the rule they accept it.

Sounds like you just need 2 pieces of metal on each side of your legs runnning to the foot well beside each pedal. But the only thing I would be worried about is speed of getting in and out of the car.

If you can see the slightly padded silver piece by the roll cage on the driver's side, that is part of the setup used in the GT-R.

I've heard that SCCA will be requiring this net now in Club racing as well for 2007... not sure how much truth is to that rumor? Who makes these nets? I have been on the Simpson, Impact Racing, I/O Port, HRPworld.com, etc sites and no one is selling these nets

Thanks for the lead on the net.... as far as the leg supports go, they are a standard safety item in NASCAR Kirkey sells them as add on to their standard seats
