what senor is this and where is it at?...I have a 97 civic ex with a 95 GSR motor obd1 swap

Its located behind the intake manifold and looks like

 

Idle Air Control Valve...you just curious or need a new one? I'm guessing you woundn't know if you needed one if you didn't know what it was

 

na cuz i have a ex and i am using a Dx wiring from the same year......My old wiring harness was a mess....i could'nt fix it...so n e way i looked at the pinpiont at the top of this foum and it talk about how to convt... it from a three wire to a two wire.....changing the plug is easy but wen it says at pin A move pin A14 to empty oin A12...there is already a wire there????? I new to all of this and i just don't understand

 

it also says that u don't hook it up right...ur gonna have bad idle.....and that is what i have right now....plz i need help asap

 

see if you can get your hands on a helms manual and check what the wires go to (not sure off hand), there might be some sort of adapter you can makeshift of actually get rid of one of the wires if you find out what the three wires do, search IACV pinout you might getsomething good
