How exactely do the voice commands with the navi work?
Should be getting my Si with navi soon and just wanted to know how it works. For example, can you say nearest ATM and directions will come up...also when you put in a destination does it actually say the directions to you like "make your next left".
You need to speak... Navi-ese
it takes a little while to get used to
for atm its
FIND NEAREST ATM
or DISPLAY ATM
the car comes with a guide of commands
the directions it gives you varies greatly

Yup, like what type x said, the navi will come
with many commands you can say and try to
memorize. It's fun to use. When you're
about to do a turn, the navi will do a count down
of how miles left to do a turn and it'll talk to you too.
And if you miss a turn or whatever, it'll recalculate
a different route for you to get back on track.
You have the option of having a guy voice or girl
voice to talk back to you.
I chosed the girl, but it can't talk dirty to me, lol.
Use and enjoy your navi!

There are a lot of people complaining about everything. That's what people do.
Before anyone complains another word about their Honda navi system, take a trip down to your local BMW dealer, and see how theirs works. Afterwards, you'll have a new appreciation for how good the system in your Honda is. (BMWs have no touchscreen feature, no voice command, sometimes they speak German to you, etc.)

when i bought my tsx with navi
the salesguy pretty much said i will get frustrated but to relax and over time it will be better
on one of the tsx forums i found an excel sheet with all the different ways to say things on the commands
usually there are 2-3 ways to ask for things
i might still have it on my work PC
