i have a 93' EX sedan that HAD a D15B7 in it when i bought it
i just finished swapping in a D16Z6 and have encountered some probs

after the swap we filled all the fluids and checked for leaks, and cranked the car
the car started right up (everything worked) made last min checks and drove the car around a while........ about 30 min later the dash(btw JDM) stopped working completely(
(no tach,no speed,no fuel,no temp, and no CEL) the turnsignals dont work but the hazards do. i have head lights and dash lights but it just quit working......
checked all the fuses and they are good what else could it be?
put in my old set of gagues and still nothing ..........

 

did u mess w/ the wiring under ur dash? cause swaping a motor should mess w/ ur lights ect.... maybe ur ecu?

 

didnt do nething under the dash
just regular plug and play swap
put the motor in that was supposed to be in it stock

 

did your car just die? does itstart back up? does it crank but wnt turn over?

 

im not exaclty sure but i had a similar problem, it was the ecu

 

the car runs fine and has ran fine since the swap
ill check the ECU and thanks

 

changed out the ecu and still nothing
could it be a relay?
