Hey what do you think of this?
Just out of curiosity, I don't know the size of the K20 or any of the specs and measurements?? (RSX Motor), but do you think when the time comes that the K20C( DC5 Type R motor) will fit in the DC2? Just wondering.......Thinking engine swap or rebuild after 100k?

well the k20c motor mounts tranversly(sp?) with the intake manifold in the front and the exhaust manifold in teh rear. i also heard that the motor spins the opposite way unlike most hondas on the road today. even if it worked, you would have to fabricate a lot of things and in the end its not worth it. you'd be better off buying a used b18c5 and save the money to mod it like crazy.
No the newer Honda engines including spin the opposite direction of the older Honda engines including your B18C5. I believe our engines spin counter clockwise, tyhe newer ones, such as the K20C, rotate clockwise. Also I believe the transmission is on the opposite side and the exhaust no exit directly toward the back of the car. The whole engine is pretty much flipped i Believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Damn 2 replies in the time it took me to write mine. And yes anything is possible with enough money, and time but it wouldnt be very finacially locigal to turn a FWD car into a RWD car.
